2020 Jeep® Gladiator: a Legend Returns
For many decades, the Jeep® brand has been synonymous with its rugged SUVs. The company’s DNA is more complex than that, however, with trucks being a vital part of their history from the early days. One of those names is being resurrected in the form of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, now available at Moritz Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM.
We’ve actually been waiting on the new Jeep Gladiator for some time now, ever since a concept appeared based on the new Jeep Wrangler. The family resemblance is as welcome as it is strong, especially since both vehicles share some key features. Want to change the top, ride with the windshield down, or take the doors off? You can do that.
The similarities run deeper than the seven-slot grille. One of the most important features is off-road capability. Right now, each of the four trims (Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon) comes standard with four-wheel drive and Dana 44 front and rear axles. The Rubicon trim is the most capable of the lot, featuring locking axles, electronic front sway bar, and higher ground clearance, as well as best-in-class payload and towing.
The Jeep Gladiator doesn’t skimp on fun, either. The UConnect infotainment system supports Apple and Android smartphones alike. You’ve also got plenty of charging ports and USB inputs so you can still use your devices out in the wild. One of our favorite features, however, has to be the optional (and class-exclusive) TrailCam off-road camera, which lets you film your adventures. Your Fort Worth Jeep dealer will fill you in on the many other standard and optional features on offer; just be aware it’ll take awhile, because there’s a lot of ‘em!
Trucks seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. If you don’t need something the size of a new RAM truck, Moritz Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM won’t leave you out in the cold. The new Jeep Gladiator is a great alternative to the typical mid-sized pickup, and it’s available now at our showroom.
